Make My Piñata

ALL PINATAS · PRACTICAL GUIDE

Turn an idea into a clear custom brief

Choose the shape, colors and details that matter before asking a maker for a custom piñata.

Choose one focal idea

Start with the shape people should recognize at a glance: a number, fruit, star, animal or an original symbol. Use a short color palette and place the most important decoration where it will be visible at the party. Describe the mood in ordinary words such as bright, playful or understated. The maker needs priorities, not a long list of competing references.

Make references useful

Label each reference with what you like: fringe texture, silhouette, color or lettering. Include exact spelling and capitalization for a name or phrase. Share only images you are permitted to use, and ask about design rights before requesting branded characters or logos. An AI concept is a discussion aid, not proof the piece has been built or tested.

Size the idea for real life

Specify height, width and depth, not just “large.” Long ears, cones and thin details can add visual size without adding candy space. Ask whether the design fits the intended hanging location, vehicle and shipping box. If the budget is tight, ask which details can be simplified while preserving the main silhouette and colors.

Approve a buildable version

Ask the maker to confirm the chosen opening mechanism, fill access and hanging point before decoration begins. Separate visual approval from practical questions. Record the agreed version and how many revisions are included. A custom concept is not a current product listing. All Pinatas planning requests do not reserve production or take payment.

Answers to get started

What belongs in a custom piñata design brief?

Include your theme, original reference ideas, colors, lettering, approximate dimensions, opening method, event date, budget and fulfillment preference. Separate essential details from optional ideas so the maker can explain what is practical.

Is a concept image a promise of the finished piñata?

No. A drawing or AI concept is a starting point. Ask the maker to confirm materials, proportions, supported details and opening construction. The accepted written specifications should describe the finished item.

Will this worksheet send my design to a maker?

No. Your notes stay in this browser page until you print or choose to share them. Reloading clears them. Preparing a brief does not request a quote, approve a design or create an order.

Your custom design brief

This tool works in your browser. It does not send your notes. Do not include bank details or private information about children.
